First Recipe to try: Overnight Oatmeal!

In lieu of the cold weather, and with thanksgiving coming up, I thought I would try to create a spiced pumpkin preview breakfast as my first meal of my pseudo cleanse. I've heard great things about overnight oatmeal, and it seems easy enough to make! 

I'll write about how it turns out tomorrow; hopefully delicious!

Yogurt Layer: 
-Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla according to preference)
-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 
-1/2 packet of stevia (optional, but gives it a natural sweetness)

Oat Layer:
-1/3 cup old fashioned oats
-1/4 cup pumpkin puree
-1/4 cup fat free milk/almond milk
-1/2 sliced banana
-sprinkling of chia seeds. 

Roughly calculated nutrition facts: 
252 calories
17.5g protein


Directions: Mix each of the above, but keep the yogurt and oats separate until preparing. Layer each in a mason jar or glass until full. Refrigerate overnight and enjoy in the A.M.
